    • CLEANING TECHNOLOGY
      • High Pressure

Pressure is necessary when removing baked on, difficult soils. Many times, chemistry is not enough to clean these very dirty parts.

        Immersion

Immersion or dip cleaning is typically utilized in low production, batch processes. Agitation is generally employed with the chemistry.

        Spray

This process employs the use of a pump and piping that transfers chemical solutions from a tank to a set of risers inside of the wash cabinet.

        Ultrasonic

Ultrasonic cleaning utilizes sound waves to cavitate a wash solution which appears to create tiny bubbles within the wash solution.

Gilmore Speaks Infrared

March 18, 2019 by trimac

Josh Gilmore is giving his first presentation on Infrared at the Powder Coating 2019 Technical Conference in Orlando, FL on April 3, 2019. If you’re interested in learning about Infrared Technology and how you can use it to save money and make your manufacturing and powder coating operation more LEAN be sure to check it out!

A brief look into infrared heating technology as an environmentally friendly method of curing powder coatings and the LEAN implications associated with the technology. Lean initiatives of reduced time on the line resulting in added production and utilizing a smaller footprint result in additional capital to the manufacturer. Evaluations of electric infrared, gas-catalytic infrared and gas convection heating technologies to determine the most environmental curing method will be reviewed.
